10000 Fathers Reading! is an annual nationwide movement to encourage fathers to read to their children on a regular basis. This initiative aims to increase fathers’ involvement in their children’s literacy development and to improve the quality of father-child relationships. Reading also ignites children’s imagination and encourages them to turn their dreams into reality.

10000 Fathers Reading! is organised jointly by National Library Board and the Centre For Fathering, with the support of the National Family Council, and South-East Community Development Council. In celebration of National Family Week ‘07, the launch event will be held at East Coast Park on Father’s Day.
